Sarah Krasley has been deeply infatuated with manufacturing since a QC slip fell out of her overall pocket in the eighties. She indulges this curiosity as CEO of Shimmy Technologies, an early stage company bringing artificial intelligence to apparel design and manufacturing workflows. Alongside this, Ms. Krasley leads Unreasonable Women, a design consultancy focused on product, service, and workplace policy design that empowers women.
Ms Krasley holds a BFA from Pratt Institute, an MBA from the University of San Francisco, and joined the adjunct faculty of New York University’s ITP in 2015 where she teaches Design for Manufacturing to graduate students. She writes about product design and manufacturing for DEVELOP3D, Fortune, and New York Magazine.
